The Iron County Clerk’s office maintains County Commission records, payroll, accounts payable, County budget and financial statements, County inventory, Railroad and Utility tax billing, assessed valuation for political subdivisions, liquor license, ATV/UTV permits, notary commissions, voter registration, and serves as the election administration for the County.
Election Mission: To provide safe, secure and accurate elections for the citizens of Iron County.
Can be purchased in person, Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 4PM (except holidays) or purchased by mail by completing the ATV/UTV application below.
o Must provide the year, make, model, and VIN of the vehicle being permitted
o Payment be sent with the application to the following address:

Permit cost is $5.00 per year, up to 5 years
Payment must be cash or check only (debit/credit cards cannot be accepted)
Once received by mail, a receipt along with the original permit (signed by the County Clerk’s Office and a permit number assigned) will be returned to you by mail.
Applicant's must first apply with the Missouri Secretary of State's Commissions Division and obtain a surety bond. The bond must be remitted to and verified by the County Clerk's Office in order for the applicant to receive his/her oath and commission.
